    Hello,

    I am just starting to setup our PPA environment. We currently have four Plesk 10.4.4 and 11.0 servers.

    To start, I did a new install of Windows Server 2012. I then went to my PPA panel, went to Infrastructure>Service Node>Add New Node>IIS Web Server.

    I then enter the IP address of the server, and the admin user/pass. I then get an error saying Error User Credentials being provided are incorrect. (Response Code is 26).

    However, the credentials I provided are for the administrator account and I confirmed this multiple times.

    I even created a snapshot of this machine and installed Plesk Panel 11, thinking that had to be done, but the same error occurred.

    I have confirmed that the IIS machine has iNet access. I have turned off the windows firewall on this machine as well. Still no success.

    I also disabled UAC.

    Can someone shed some light on what I might be missing?

    Thanks.

    I suggest you check registration node logs in /var/log/poa.debug.log file. Most probably you will see WinRM errors like:

    console : DBG [1:28508:f56a2b90:77 1:28508:f56a2b90 lib]: CORBA_POAUI:94bcfc9e7d16b194775f17f137a5da93 <1> IDL:WindowsNodeRegistratorPrivate:1.0::tryToEnableWinRM
    console : DBG [1:28508:f56a2b90:77 1:28508:f56a2b90 SharedNodeRegistrator]: [SharedNodeRegistrator_impl::WindowsNodeRegistrator_impl::tryToE] ===> ENTRY
    console : DBG [1:28508:f56a2b90:77 1:28508:f56a2b90 SharedNodeRegistrator]: [WSManOperations::identify] ===> ENTRY
    console : ERR [1:28508:f56a2b90:77 1:28508:f56a2b90 SharedNodeRegistrator]: [WSManOperations::identify] WsmanClientException: Failed to establish a connection with the server. Openwsman last error = 26
    console : DBG [1:28508:f56a2b90:77 1:28508:f56a2b90 lib]: [WSManOperations::identify] {module_id="WindowsNodeRegistrator"; code="19"} User credentials being provided are incorrect. (Response code is 26).

    In that case go to Windows server and try to configure WinRM service with something like:

    C:\Users\Administrator>winrm quickconfig

    Hi, sorry for the late response. I was away for a bit. Okay, so to update. I was using a Windows 2012 Datacenter edition originally. Then I noticed that 2012 was officially supported yet. I tried the "winrm quickconfig" and enabled external configuration. The same issue remained.

    So, I thin installed a clean copy o fWindows 2008R2 Datacenter. All updates/SP's installed. Ran "winrm quickconfig" and enabled external configuration.

    Then I tried to add the new 2008R2 server and the same issue occurred.

    Here is a copy of the log file

    (Jun 16 14:32:06 PPASERVER : ERR [1:24347:f5a72b90:3 1:24347:f5a72b90 SharedNodeRegistrator]: [WSManOperations::identify] WsmanClientException: Failed to establish a connection with the server. Openwsman last error = 26

    I replaced my test server name with PPASERVER in case that changes anything.

    I have confirmed the following just to make sure.
    - Windows firewall is disabled.
    - the credentials being supplied to PPA are correct.
    - I created a second admin account just to test. Same error.
    - The system is running behind a sonic-wall, but the PPA and Windows Node are on the same Network.
    - PPA and Windows Node are VM's on an ESXi 5.0 host and on the same VLAN. They are abel to ping each other, so they clearly know the other is there.
    - PPA is currently running at 11.1 Update#10

    again any help is appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Anyone have any ideas? I really like the promise of PPA, but I can't even get a single IIS node running. Do I need to open an official support ticket?

    Thanks.

    Yes, I think it would be better solution. The problem requires the investigation directly on the server.

    Hi Everyone,

    Just thought I would give the update on this error. I contacted support. Apparently although I enabled WinRM I either didn't do it right or missed something.

    Support Response
    This issue occurs due to the fact Windows Remote Management service was not configured properly on web01 host.

    I have configured it using commands below and was able to complete wizard for node addition:
    cmd /c winrm put winrm/config/service @{AllowUnencrypted = "true"} cmd /c winrm put winrm/config/service/Auth @{Basic = "true"}

    After that I was able to start the install. Ran into a few other issues, but unrelated to this. In case anyone else has issues.
