    Hi,

I tried installing the version available on download1.parallels.com on CentOS4.6 (where it basically said: "You can't install it here, only upgrade") and on RHEL4.6 (where it said "not supported").

    Does it really need RHAS?
The readme doesn't specify which minor-versions of the distributions it actually wants!

    cheers,
    Rainer

OK, I just downloaded RHEL-AS4.6 and the installer says "No products match current OS install".

So, I'll try to go down the RHEL-release ladder...

Regarding "No products match current OS install" message, I recommend you check the following article.

As for OSes, according to the release notes Redhat Enterprise Linux AS 5 is supported.

    Thanks,
it turned out I had missed the small bit in the instructions to install the OS with the "Server" profile (I was used to installing the bare minimum installation from Virtuozzo).

So, it works now, but I have more questions...
