What happens if a domain subscription is canceled at registrar side?

I wonder what happens to domains at the registrar side, if the subscription is canceled in PBA-S.
The subcription in PBA-S ends and the nameserver configuration is cleaned.

But I never see an action with the registrar so far.

For some TLDs there might no action be necessary, because they expire automatically, but for others, (e.g. .de) they do not. If you want to end it, you must explicitly tell the registry.

How is this handled in PBA-S?
Does it silently "forget" the domain at the registrar, because it should expire anyway or does it actively end the registration?
(Maybe it depends on the used plugin?)

    Dear Netzhaus,

If plugin supports the terminate_domain functionality so the "Domain termination settings" are shown on plugin settings for a tld screen in PCC. If the option "Terminate domain at the registrar" is checked plugin will send domain termination request to the registrar.

    Thanks,

so I know now, that I need to request a new feature for the plugins we use.

Among the two plugins only Denic lacks the terminate_domain function.

Oh yes, you're right. It is configureable for each TLD...that is fine.
