Virtual Named Directories Not be served up properly by Apache

Plesk is creating the web directories in the appropriate place but apache seems to only serve up the default page. It is not a DNS issue as the appropriate address is resolving to the page but apache is serving up a default document from somewhere as opposed to the named domain it's supposed to. Where did the installation go wrong and what can I do to fix this problem? I assume Plesk is making a change somehow to some httpd.conf file somewhere when you create a new domain. This is Plesk 2.5 under Redhat 7.2. Thanks in advance!

Ps ftp uploads do go the right place but not http requests.

Can you give an example domain, so we can see which page you are seeing.

It is displaying the default web document out of /var/www/html/index.html I've verified and yes the url is
    http://www.hankinsbay.com.

I think you have default version of apache running on the server.
Try to stop non-psa apache: "/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd stop" and restart PSA: "/etc/rc.d/init.d/psa stop; /etc/rc.d/init.d/psa start".
