    Hi

    We have troubles with 'ppa-transfer'.
As far is i know are these all known issues.

    - IP translations are ignored for transferred DNS records (http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?295062-DNS-Template-DNS-Zone-problems)
    - transferred DNS records are not editable (http://forum.parallels.com/showthre...-not-allow-for-modification-via-web-interface)
    - Domains from Windows-Plesk servers can not be transferred because of encoding error "cp850" (http://forum.parallels.com/showthre...-quot-LookupError-unknown-encoding-cp850-quot)

We've tried to transfer with 11.1 first and waited then for 11.5, hoping this problems will be solved, but still no luck.
By when can we expect a version of 'ppa-transfer' where these problems are resolved?

    Hi MatthiasSch,

    >>- IP translations are ignored for transferred DNS records (http://forum.parallels.com/showthrea...-Zone-problems)
This is a known bug in migration tools. We have plans to fix this in PPA 11.5 update 03

    >>- transferred DNS records are not editable (http://forum.parallels.com/showthrea...-web-interface)
The situation is described in post you provided by Andrew. In short, all DNS records generated by PPA during webspace creation are treated as System and these ones cannot be editable. It was done specially. There is a way to disable DNS record and create a new custom record.

    >> - Domains from Windows-Plesk servers can not be transferred because of encoding error "cp850" (http://forum.parallels.com/showthrea...ing-cp850-quot)
The bug is fixed in 11.5. If this is still actual, please open a ticket and give me number. We'll take a look.

    Thanks!

    Hi Andrey

    Thanks for your reply.

    IP translations
This means a lot of work "by hand", but OK, we'll go through it :(

    transferred DNS records
It is possible to disable them, but they get re-enabled automatically if DNS-template is propagated again.
Therefore it would be nice if Parallels would provide at least a solution to delete the disabled records by script or what ever. Will this be possible?
I also tried to delete the whole DNS-zone and recreate it manually, but in this case i'm not able to create a branding on the Domain then...

    error "cp850"
Tried this with Windows Server 2008 R2.
I'll give it another try with Windows Server 2012 R2 and then open a ticket if necessary.

    Best Regards
    Matthias
