Will there be support for SmarterMail as an external service? We have an existing SmarterMail node that we are using for mutliple servers using custom pages and some hacks, but I would like to use the Native handling inside of Plesk to do everything instead. Is this somethig that is supported, and if so is there any directions or articles on getting this setup?

If its not supported, is this something that will be supported and if so is there an ETA? Will this be a feature at product launch?

    Hi Amin,

We have developed a standard "connector" feature for mail servers in PPA based on APS. So, "out of the box" PPA will work with Postfix mail server on Linux, but we're working with other vendors (including SmarterMail and MailEnable) to ensure their mail servers will be able to integrate with this standardized interface. As we continue to communicate with these vendors, we should be able to provide more information on their ETAs. Certainly our hope is "at launch" as well. :)

Blake, Thanks for the reply. Would that connector be both for Plesk on Linux as well as Plesk for Windows?

Yep, its a standard connector. We're actually providing the Postfix connector sources to any interested vendors. We could send it to you as well if you wanted to look into doing any integrations of your own.

Any chance SmarterMail will be functional with the October release?

    Thanks!
