    [RESOLVED] PBAS on Centos6 32bits

    Hi,

I am trying to install PBAS Standard in a PCS container which running Centos 6 32 bits OS.

    However, I received errors:

[System] Generic system error. Unable to load RPM library:
librpm-.s0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
librpm-4.4.s0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
librpm-4.3.s0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
librpm-4.2.s0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
librpm-4.1.s0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I do understand from Installation guide it mention only supports Centos / RHEL 5 ... but any workaround to get it installed on Centos 6?

This is because I tried to install PBAS in another PCS container which running Centos 5 32 bits is having problem with NTP and receive error "Current system time zone is not supported by Parallels Business Automation - Standard" when trying login to Provider Control Panel ....

Hence wanna try it on Centos 6 ....

    Hello.

It's impossible to install PBAS 4.3.x on CentOS / RHEL 6. I suggest to change time zone to supported one in your CentOS 5 CT.

    Hi dkolvakh,

    Thanks for the information.

Yes, I have fixed the time zone issue in CentOS 5 by replacing the /etc/localtime file with /usr/share/zoneinfo/Singapore .... it is kind of weird that Malaysia time zone is not supported (I selected Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia when installing PCS) ...

Again, thanks for the solution :)
