Hello there, I am a little bit confused howto setup my DNS Servers.

I am using PPA in conjuction with PBAS, how do I register the DNS service nodes?
I did deploy them with PPA, but they are now managed by PPA or PBAS?

When I added the DNS servers in PBAS 'Top > Service Director > Domain Manager > Name Servers > [IMG]New Name Server'
I selected 'Non-manageable name server' or is 'Name server to be managed over SSH' the right choice?

    Hello,

When you use PPA-PBAS integration DNS servers in PPA is not needed, in this integration always used DNS servers in PBAS.
You should not register PPA DNS servers in PBAS.
PBAS collect DNS records from PPA and place it on own nameservers.

    Thank you.

So I shall not deploy any DNS Server with PPA? Just setup my own machine, proably with CentOS or Ubuntu? And then let them be managed by PBAS?

Are there some OS restrictions like CentOS or Ubuntu?

In the video they configure the ppa node as master DNS, which is also wrong?

In this video described standalone PPA installation and correct.
For PBAS integration those DNS are not required.

For configure PBAS-PPA use this video -
It is for old version PPA and PBAS and outdated but ideas the same.
