We are actually using Exand 2.3 and are looking forward to the new solutions. What we would like to have in the new solution:

    - Possibility to put a customers domain on multiple servers (Loadbalancing)
    - Possibility to set up a domain multiple times, this is actually blocked by expand. We have this case if a customer wants to change from Windows to Linux or vice versa
    - Possibility to easily move a customer from one to another server
    - Rules for creating ftp usernames (for example clientID_userinput)
    - Rules for creating mysql databases (for example clientID_userinput)

As we are using own dns and mailservers, it would be nice if we could set this in PPA and PPA reports all changes done in the GUI to an interface. That could be done the same way as the actual expand API but the other way round.

    Feedbacks and questions are welcome.

These are by default set out like this in HSphere including turning off/on the prefix for FTP - so hopefully they will not be lost going to MSP.

    Hi, everybody,

By its nature, PPA is an integration project, which combines Plesk as the hosting panel and POA as the administration system. Therefore, the basic feature set is coming from these systems. We’ll be enhancing it going forward, but at the moment we all are concentrated on integration, and the best I can do is filing your feature requests for the future consideration. In particular:

    - Plesk team is examining a possibility of building a cluster. The timing is not known yet.
    - Setting a domain multiple times and moving from one server to another, including switching between Linux and Windows are two different tasks. We are planning to have relocation of webspaces between the nodes. If this is not the same, please, explain me again, what do you mean under setting up a domain multiple times.
    - We have the rules for the DB name and DB user name prefix in Plesk. There are no such rules for FTP users. I’ll file the latter as the feature request.
    - Integration with external mail and DNS servers should be discussed separately. If you have development resources, we can connect them with our engineering directly.

    Regards,
    Andrey

    Hi Michael,

If you still would like to talk about load balancing in Plesk Automation, then please respond here or check you private messages. Thanks!
