    On 8/2 and 8/11 (twice) I updated our Storage license to add another block of storage. We're not that close to running out but I wanted a bit more breathing room and from time to time I add a block. However I noticed it hasn't increased space, and pstorage -c cluster1 view-license shows it is still using "PCSS.nnnnnnn.0021" instead of the current license "PCSS.nnnnnnn.0023." If I run pstorage -c cluster1 update-license I get the result "Current license doesn't required [sic] update." How can I get it to update its license? Does it always wait until then to see the new license? I do see:

    license_update_date="08/21/2016 19:00:00"

    Hello Steve,

    Yes, update-license skips updating it because update date didn't start yet.
    You can skip it by using "-n" option:

    Code:
    [root@pcs-3rdline-7 ~]# pstorage -c 3rdline update-license
    Current license doesn't required update
    [root@pcs-3rdline-7 ~]# pstorage -c 3rdline update-license -n
    Start update for current license
     * Connecting to the KA server ka.virtuozzo.com:5224
     * Sending request
     * Receive data
    License does not required update
    [root@pcs-3rdline-7 ~]#

    Ah, thanks. "man pstorage" doesn't show a "-n" option. I had tried -f (force) but it didn't work either, I forgot to mention that.

    You could see that in
    Code:
     pstorage -c %clustername% update-license --help
    I know it's a bit unobvious... but it's there.
