    Hi,

I would like to know more about the underlying technical architecture of Virtuozzo containers for Windows. As far as I understand Microsoft is yet to come up with its own container technology for Windows, but parallels have already implemented it. Am interested to know the details of how this is acheived. Can anybody help?

    Regards,

Parallels has been developing containers for 10+ years already. What we have achieved is an isolated environment emulating a real machine and capable of precise resource management, network managemt and almost everything else. As far as I know in the initial release MS will have an isolated processes called "containers". Therefore those technologies will not even compete but complement each other. Most probably you will be able to run MS containers inside Parallels ones the same way you can run Docker containers inside Parallels containers for Linux and virtual machines.
