    Welcome

    forgive me for my english;-)

I need to convert Existing virtual machine virtuozzo in template virtuozzo, according to:
    http://download.swsoft.com/virtuozzo/virtuozzo4.0/docs/en/lin/VzLinuxTmplMgmt/18155.htm

I have to use the utility vzveconvert, but the utility is not installed and is not available from the repository:

    yum search all vzveconvert
    Loaded plugins: fastestmirror

    Hi,

which Version of Virtuozzo are you using?
These tools are quite old and should not apply to recent Virtuozzo/PCS Versions.
Also you should actually not have Standard Templates support anymore in recent Versions.

    Regards,
    Kristian

    Welcome

    Thanks for your answer
Yes, you're right, we use Parallels Cloud Server 6.0-1639
Please tell me how I can convert a virtual container in a template?

    Hi Igor,

    there is no such possability.
This is only possible for VMs but not for CTs.

For CTs you need to create ezTemplates which only consist of instruction on how to and where to download the required packages and then
    create a Template.

If you wish to create a ezTemplate, have a look at the following documentation:
    http://download.swsoft.com/pvc/47/lin/docs/en/pdf/VzLinuxTmplMgmt.pdf (Start on Page 20)

This documentation if actually for VZ 4.7, but it's the same for PCS6.

    Regards,
    Kristian

Update: Here is the official documentation for PCS6:
    http://download.parallels.com/doc/pcs/pdf/Parallels_Templates_Management_Guide.pdf
