    Hi to all,

we have an existing setup of parallels business automation standard, 3.3 on a vps, and we want to change the global hostname of the installation, so that all the services will run on the new hostname.

After we changed the hostname of the vps server and also configured the eshop with the new hostname, the services keep redirecting us to the old hostname for some reason. We have tried restarting the servers with no luck.

Is there a procedure to change the global hostname of the pba?

    Hello,

Check if server name is changed in hspc.conf

    [root@pbas conf]# cat /etc/hspc/hspc.conf | grep SERVER_NAME
    SERVER_NAME

    also see at /etc/hspcd/conf/hspc_rewrite.conf

Aha!, found it on hspc.conf and changed it. After i did a hspcd restart. I'll check to see the redirections in the shop and i will post back the results. Thank you a lot!

Ok...it seems we solved the redirections problem, but the problem remains when a new for example plesk domain is created. All the emails that are generated from pba to the customer have the old hostname instead of the new one...

I was thinking maybe it's a database thing. Should i start searching inside the pba db for a forgotten field with the old hostname?

Any help would be much appreciated

    Thank you in advance

I also found this in actions:

    @@customer.web_tool_url@

    Use your login and password.

    Domain name @@subscription.domain_name@
    FTP and FrontPage login @@subscription.ftp_login@
FTP, FrontPage and domain password @@subscription.ftp_password@

To change the password, go to
    @@customer.pwd_reminder_url@
    and follow the instructions.

Control Panel allows you to manage your subscription and your account:

Your subscription will be activated in a short run.

To download Control Panel documentation in Adobe Acrobat format:
    http://@@provider.server_name@/doc/HSPC_SG.pdf
(also, you can download documentation once logged to Control Panel)

    Thank you for choosing @@provider.company_name@!

This is the notification message configured in actions when a new plesk domain is created. The variable @@provider.server_name@ keeps this old hostname value but also another one @@customer.pwd_reminder_url@
